Finished!

I finished my Newton's Law - 'Friends Share' this morning and couldn't wait to share. I am really pleased with how it turned out, just need to decide whether I want to put it into a card to give away or a small frame to keep!

The back stitch was quite challenging as it didn't all go in the designated holes, so I had to really concentrate and give it some time, but I am glad I did.

There were a couple of french knots for the champagne bubbles and on the bow. I had to watch a YouTube tutorial to familiarize myself with them. I always find them difficult but I was quite pleased with the result! I'm going to try and finish Bert the Badger soon too!

Project details:
The chart is from The World of Cross Stitching - Issue 178
Stitched on 14-count aida
Started: Saturday 16th June

Happy Stitching!

  1. I like it. I saw the date you started it and I remembered I have a cross stitch I started when I lived in Germany around 2000ish that I started and is still not complete. I might need to break it out sometime and get it finished.
